DraftKings: Week 6 Wide Receiver (WR) Picks

Welcome to our week 6 WR picks for DraftKings. If you’re on the fence about signing up, make sure to read our comprehensive review. Already signed up and want some value to picks that will make you money? Let’s go…

Cream of the Crop

Randall Cobb – ($7,100) Cobb is going bananas this year, even better than expected. Green Bay’s offense is starting to click and every defense knows Rodgers is looking to Jordy Nelson first. That’s why we like Cobb this week coming in $600 cheap than Nelson.

Emmanuel Sanders – ($6,900) Every is hopping on the Demaryius Thomas train after last week, but he costs a whopping $1,00 more than Sanders in week 6. The Broncos are going against the NY Jets. In case you need any more convincing, Denver is without Montee Ball so they will be passing early and oftern. We love Sanders as an equal scorer to Thomas this week, at a much lower price.

Julio Jones – ($8,400) Talk about the cream of the crop at wide receiver in week 6 of NFL action. We usually don’t recommend dropping this much on one player. If they don’t perform, you lose it’s that simple. BUT let’s be honest…it’s Julio Jones going against a Chicago D that couldn’t stop a baby in a stroller from finding the end zone. If you have the conviction to drop some cash, this is the week 6 matchup to do it.

Value Plays

Steve Smith Sr. – ($6,200) A little on the pricey side to be considered “value” but we love Smith this week. He’s playing a Tampa Bay team that isn’t exactly stopping teams from finding the end zone. He is also extremely familiar with their defense schemes form his time in Carolina. Expect him to find holes in Tampa’s cover 2 defense in week 6.

Percy Harvin – ($5,400) Two words…Dallas Defense! We’re talking about Percy here. No more migraines and two TDs called back last week on Monday Night Football. Expect Seattle to feed this beast early and often at home.

James Jones – ($5,100) WTF? You are recommending drafting a player on the Oakland Raiders? Yes. They are playing at home in a divisional matchup against San Diego. Someone has to move the ball and score for Oakland and that someone is James Jones.

Bargain Barrel

Rueben Randle – ($4,600) The Giants are going against the Eagles this week in prime time. Their offense has been improving every week as have Randle’s targets. Rueben could easily find the end zone in week 6 at a bargain price.

Louis Murphy Jr. – ($3,800) The Bucs offense looks light years better with Glennon under center. Murphy has been benefiting from chemistry with Glennon from their time on the practice squad together. He’s getting more targets and catches than Vincent Jackson and costs less than $4k. Buy now.
