DraftKings: Week 6 Running Back (RB) Picks

Want to cash in your DraftKings league this week and looking for buys? Look no further than our guide to week 6 running backs. Got the extra cash? Go for the cream of the crop. Modest Budget? Score big with our value picks. Straight up poor? No worries, we’ve got you covered with our bargain barrel picks.

Cream of the Crop

Giovani Bernard – ($7,700) Gio is a beast and playing at home against a Carolina defense that isn’t what you’d expect historically. Expect the Bengals to bounce back after a tough loss in New England and ride Giovani to victory.

Marshawn Lynch – ($8,600) Lynch get more fantasy points per carry than most fantasy studs out there. Playing the Cowboys at home, expect the Seahawks to get up early and ride Lynch the rest of the way.

Matt Forte – ($8,800) Forte is the most expensive RB in week 6 and with good reason. Atlanta is terrible against the run and Jay Cutler seems to be involving Forte more and more in the pass game. Even on the road, expect Forte to be worth every penny. Buy him if you can afford it.

Value Plays

Andre Ellington – ($5,100) Ellington is at home against the Washington Redskins that made the NY Giants offense look elite. He’s coming off a huge week against Denver. Expect him to continue the ride this week. He should be in your line-up in week 6, PERIOD.

Branden Oliver – ($5,500) Oliver is a surprise emergence with the injury to Ryan Matthews. He had a monster week against the NY Jets. He’s playing the Oakland raiders this week and is set up for a huge week. Most experts would agree that you should start a blind man in a wheel chair against the Oakland Raiders. Oliver is certainly an upgrade over that at this price!

Lamar Miller – ($5,800) Now that all his competitors are injured, Miller is settling in nicely. He’s going against a struggling Packers defense at home. Expect him to score points, especially in garbage time J

Bargain Barrel

Stevan Ridley – ($3,700) The Patriots are getting back to their usual form. Although Vereen has been getting a good amount of carries, expect Ridley to show his face this week against Buffalo. You could sure do worse at this price in week 6.

Steven Jackson – ($4,100) Jackson had a great week 5 and is looking to build on that momentum. He’s going against the Bears defense at home in the dome in a seemingly must win game. Expect the veteran to deliver at this price.

Antone Smith – ($3,400) Talk about boom or bust. Smith can score any time the ball touches his hands. The question is how involved will he be in week 6? If you wanna take a shot at an extremely low price, start Smith. You can’t find higher scoring potential for this price at RB.
